    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This non-exempt position adheres to a Quality Control System, which complies with federal, state and local construction specifications for the asphalt and concrete plant products as well as the products from the quarry operations.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Runs daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with specification of various projects and with federal, state and local regulations.</li>\n <li>Develops and adheres to all quality control procedures for the asphalt, concrete and quarry operations.</li>\n <li>Develops asphalt and concrete mix designs in accordance with project specifications.</li>\n <li>Coordinates quality control procedures on various projects with representatives of federal, state and local government agencies.</li>\n <li>Conducts various lab experiments on products using established scientific protocols.</li>\n <li>Coordinates with the asphalt, quarry and concrete plant control rooms regarding mix designs required by customers.</li>\n <li>Receives and analyzes product related technical data coming from external salespeople and technical representatives regarding production procedures.</li>\n <li>Preforms other job-related duties as required or assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Hourly Range:</strong>• $23.00 - $30.00, based on experience. \n<strong>Benefits:</strong>• We offer competitive industry-leading benefits (including Medical, Vision and Dental), vacation, paid holidays, annual performance bonus program and 401k.\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in job experience is required in a scientific or engineering discipline.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 1-2 years' experience; 3-5 years preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of types of products and product components and the applicability of government regulation on product quality is necessary.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of lab scientific protocols is a must.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Our Company Does Work That Matters</strong></p>\n<p>Allan Myers is a leading self-performing heavy civil construction and construction materials company with a strategic network of offices, quarries and asphalt plants covering the Mid-Atlantic from New Jersey to Virginia Beach.
