font-size: 12pt\">We are seeking an Estimator for our Transmission and Distribution division who is responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, quotes, and other documentation to prepare an all-inclusive quality and accurate bid submission.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Estimating Execution &amp; Bid Preparation</em></span><em><span> </span>-<span> </span></em>Review all contract documents to understand requirements, risks, and pricing impacts; Perform material take-off; Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes and evaluate for completeness and best price; Participate in the estimate review process with internal and external stakeholders; and Prepare and/or provide input for customer deliverables (schedule, proposal letter, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Bid Administration &amp; Documentation Management</em></span><em><span> </span>-</em><span> </span>Work with Estimating Project Administrator to upload project documents for vendors/subcontractors and to submit RFIs for estimating questions by deadline; Distribute qualification documents as required for the bid; Prepare award documents for review to be submitted by deadline; and Assure complete and thorough pre-construction planning and distribution of all documents per project delivery process.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Contract &amp; Scope Review</em></span><em><span> </span>-</em><span> </span>Review purchase orders, subcontracts, and contracts for accuracy; Identify areas of importance (milestones, liquidated damages, etc.) and relay to project management (PM) team; Identify possible change orders; and Facilitate a scope review with PM team to align estimate assumptions with project execution.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Project Handoff &amp; Collaboration<span> </span></em></span>- Assist construction personnel at project startup to communicate basis and approach of cost estimate; Attend pre-construction/project meetings; and Relay project insights to PM team.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Who We’re Looking For</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">An acceptable combination of education and/or work experience within the Electric Utility industry with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience in the electrical construction industry performing cost estimates and estimating knowledge of electrical industry.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proficient in MS Office applications and Accubid Estimating Software</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera a plus</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of National Electric Code and NFPA 70E. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Local to Pennsylvania (preferable) but with occasional travel to other offices, customer facilities, jobsites and yard locations for offsite meetings (flexibility to work from home when appropriate).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
