You will support to define system functionality and work on both back-end .NET and front-end using C# and TypeScript/JavaScript programming languages.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You should be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary planning, defining requirements, designing, and prototyping, building, documenting, testing, deploying, to finally maintaining the software.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Finally, you will be responsible contribute thoughts positively within the Agile development team and demonstrate an enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Help to design & deliver new features and maintain & improve current features across the platform.</li>\n <li>Work closely with Development Managers and Team Leaders, and other Software Engineers to build well architected cloud hosted and on-premises enterprise solutions.</li>\n <li>Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, Front-end Development Engineers, Test Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure features are delivered to a high standard.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the Product Design Team to create an optimal user experience.</li>\n <li>Work across the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cycles.</li>\n <li>Work within an Agile Development Team using e.g., Scrum framework.</li>\n <li>Contribute towards the defining and developing a Sprint backlog to achieve the goals set out by our Product team.</li>\n <li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix software defects.</li>\n <li>Provide unit tests to support and validate for any development work undertaken.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the Development Team’s working practices and technology decisions.</li>\n <li>Create necessary documentation relating to work produced.</li>\n <li>Perform tasks with limited supervision and require substantial use of independent judgment within the scope.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills and Experience</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>5+ years professional software development experience with at least 4 years C#.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Proven ability to deliver and maintain web-based software using C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript and HTML + CSS. React experience a plus.</strong></li>\n <li>Some experience implementing cloud-native technologies such as app services, functions, containers, microservices and APIs ideally on Azure.</li>\n <li>Some experience delivering reliable DevOps solutions, continuous integration and continuous delivery using Azure DevOps, Octopus, Docker, and Kubernetes. Ideally 24/7/365 SaaS experience.</li>\n <li>Good knowledge of Git.</li>\n <li>Some knowledge & experience of code reviews and related practices.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of cyber security including red and blue team activities & OWASP Top 10.</li>\n <li>Some relational database development experience, preferably in Azure SQL.</li>\n <li>3+ years’ experience in Agile software development methodologies/frameworks such as Scrum.</li>\n <li>Some knowledge around best practices (architecture, testing, web application security, implementation, team dynamics, etc.)</li>\n <li>Good communication skills in English to other team members – willing to teach and be teachable up and down the line.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Azure or Cloud qualifications such as AZ-900 and beyond.</li>\n <li>Cyber qualifications such as CEH.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Ideagen</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ideagen is the invisible force behind many things we rely on every day - from keeping airplanes soaring in the sky, to ensuring the food on our tables is safe, to helping doctors and nurses care for the sick.
