          "text": "<p>Seeking a skilled Payroll Accountant who will work independently and under the direction of the Assistant Controller.&#xa0; The candidate must have at least 5yrs of progressive payroll experience with a medium or large company, 2 yrs minimum experience processing payroll for 200+ employees, experience working in a large ERP system, experience working with a large payroll service provider; such as Paycom and ADP, understand compliance of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, and be able to perform general ledger account reconciliations.&#xa0; &#xa0;The candidate must have good organizational skills, be able to manage multiple deadlines, communicate effectively, and maintain productive working relationships.&#xa0; The ability to think critically, analyze problems, and propose solutions is required.</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Weekly timecard processing</li><li>Bi-weekly payroll processing</li><li>Payroll reporting, filings, and taxes</li><li>Process compensation and benefit changes</li><li>Garnishments and Taxes</li><li>Processing labor transfers</li><li>Complete general ledger (GL) account reconciliations</li><li>Compliance assurance</li><li>Researching and resolving payroll discrepancies</li><li>Audit support and internal controls</li><li>Maintain payroll records and process documentation</li><li>Point of contact for all payroll related matters</li><li>Function as a back-up for other accounting tasks.</li><li>Works collaboratively with HR</li></ul><p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Takes ownership for all work activities and personal actions.
