    "description": "<h2>Subsidiary</h2>Aluminum Dynamics\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Hands-on operational support of primarily temperature measurement and burner systems. This role is part of a team with responsibility in all process areas of the plant and will directly support those process areas with routine maintenance, capability enhancements, and testing / troubleshooting.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Calibration, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of pyrometry equipment (thermocouple, thermistor, RTD, IR-pyrometer)</li>\n <li>Gas/Air-fired burner setup, optimization and troubleshooting</li>\n <li>Support equipment functional tests in compliance with NFPA-86 Standard for Ovens and Furnaces and local requirements</li>\n <li>Data analysis to define thermal process control limits and measurement sensitivity thresholds</li>\n <li>Identification of improvement opportunities and proactive problem solving</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Strong entrepreneurial approach, safety focus and technical curiosity</li>\n <li> Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance or Controls Technician (DC and up to 120VAC), with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills</li>\n <li> Experience reading electrical, panel and mechanical drawings</li>\n <li> Manufacturing, Operations, Construction or other front-line experience</li>\n <li> Experience with contact and non-contact temperature measurement equipment (use, installation and calibration)</li>\n <li> Experience with natural gas-fired industrial burners (setup, troubleshooting) and gas safety trains</li>\n <li> Computer proficiency to include data compiling and analysis</li>\n <li> Aluminum or Steel manufacturing experience strongly desired</li>\n <li> Familiarity with NFPA and OSHA Codes and Standards</li>\n <li> Familiarity with PLC’s and code architecture</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>S7 1500 series PLC and LogiCAD (Capable of troubleshooting control issues)</li>\n <li>Wonderware HMIs (Capable of making changes to screens)</li>\n <li>Industrial Networks (ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profinet, Ethernet)</li>\n <li>Programming experience with TIA Portal and LogiCAD software</li>\n <li>Programming experience with languages FBD, ST, Graph, and Ladder</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
