    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Change Management Consultant</strong></p>\n<p>(Remote)</p>\n<p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p>\n<p>Michael Baker International is seeking a Change Management Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a strategic Integration program that brings together people, processes, systems, and culture across the enterprise. You will be augmenting the Change Enablement team and partner directly with our Manager of the CMO. The contractor will help design and execute the change strategy, drive stakeholder engagement, develop communications and training, and measure adoption to ensure the Integration delivers its intended business outcomes. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can build trust quickly with leaders and employees, and balances strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.</p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>\n<p>Change Strategy &amp; Planning</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the CMO in refining and operationalizing the Integration change management strategies and roadmaps.</li>\n <li>Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness assessments across affected business units, regions, and functions.</li>\n <li>Identify and surface risks, resistance points, and dependencies; recommend mitigation actions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Stakeholder Engagement</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Build and maintain relationships with executive sponsors, integration workstream leads, people leaders, and front-line employees.</li>\n <li>Facilitate working sessions, focus groups, and listening tours to capture employee sentiment and inform plans.</li>\n <li>Coach managers and sponsors on their role in leading change.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Communications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Draft, edit, and coordinate program communications: announcements, leader talking points, FAQs, intranet content, and email cadences.</li>\n <li>Partner with Corporate Communications, HR, Operations, Integration Teams, and IT to ensure messaging is consistent, timely, and on brand for Michael Baker.</li>\n <li>Translate complex integration topics into clear, audience-appropriate language.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Training &amp; Enablement</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and deliver training and enablement materials, including job aids, e-learning, instructor-led decks, and quick-reference guides.</li>\n <li>Coordinate train-the-trainer sessions and support change champion networks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Adoption Measurement</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Recommend course corrections based on data and qualitative feedback.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You Need to Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.</li>\n <li>Seven + years of professional experience leading organizational change management on enterprise-scale initiatives.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience supporting integrations, mergers, acquisitions, or large operating-model changes.</li>\n <li>Certification in a recognized change management methodology (Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent).</li>\n <li>Proven ability to develop change strategies, stakeholder plans, communications, and training materials end to end.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft executive-level content.</li>\n <li>Comfort working independently in ambiguous environments while maintaining tight alignment with the Change Enablement Lead.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Bonus If You Have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services firms.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with project management tooling (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage).</li>\n <li>Background supporting culture integration and employee experience work.</li>\n <li>Experience coaching senior leaders and sponsors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Core Competencies:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Change Management Expertise — Deep methodology fluency and pragmatic application.</li>\n <li>Influence &amp; Trust — Builds credibility quickly with leaders and front-line employees alike.</li>\n <li>Strategic &amp; Hands-On — Comfortable shaping the plan and executing the deliverables.</li>\n <li>Communication — Clear, concise, and audience-aware in writing and verbally.</li>\n <li>Bias for Action — Moves work forward with limited supervision in ambiguous conditions.</li>\n <li>Collaboration — Partners effectively across HR, Communications, IT, and the integration workstreams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>The approximate compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
