    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking candidates for an RFP Writer role. The RFP Writer is responsible for completing complex RFPs, DDQs and other questionnaires related to institutional investment products and services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires independent research, analysis, creativity, and judgment to accurately and favorably present investment products/services to institutional customers and consultants. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Location(s): Charlotte, NC</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Producing high quality responses, identifying key \"win\" themes and positioning responses for each request</li>\n <li>Qualifying RFPs considering the firm's product/service capabilities, account minimums, and legal guidelines</li>\n <li>Working closely with portfolio management, sales, performance, finance, investment analytics, compliance, and legal staff to complete responses, identify proposed fees, and develop language</li>\n <li>Undertaking product suitability analysis and recommending the appropriate investment products for institutional customers to coordinate our participation in RFP opportunities</li>\n <li>Writers may also share responsibility for reviewing, creating and/or updating the firm's profiles on consultant databases</li>\n <li>This is a collaborative work environment where projects are regularly shared by two or more writers</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of the investment management business, the organization's products and services, and the RFP and consultant questionnaire response process are necessary to be successful in this role</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of written communications development experience demonstrated through work or military experience</li>\n <li>Remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Operate computer programs and software</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats</li>\n <li>Day-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or public)</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills</li>\n <li>Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment</li>\n <li>BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or related field</li>\n <li>3+ years of investment industry experience</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities within strict deadlines</li>\n <li>Familiarity with asset management and investment products, including mutual funds</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Allspring products and related systems</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Loopio (or other RFP software)</li>\n <li>Adoption of AI tools for RFP & DDQ creation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Please note</strong></em><em>: This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
