    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\">POSITION OBJECTIVE</p><p>Perform general maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance standards are achieved and maintained.</p><p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p><ul><li>Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard. &nbsp;</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., &quot;room care&quot;).</li><li>Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems, and make minor repairs and/or replacement.</li><li>Assist in checking and making routine repairs and assist on major repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, hand and power tools and general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipe lines, toilets and sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment.</li><li>Service the hotel&#39;s pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; completing maintenance request forms and record logs.</li><li>Maintain the building exterior and interior</li><li>Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows and counters. &nbsp;Paint and finish furniture and fixtures if needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.&nbsp;</li><li>Operation of heavy machinery.</li><li>Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.</li><li>Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.</li><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends and holidays</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Must have the ability to communicate in English. &nbsp;</li><li>Self-starting personality with an even disposition. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Can communicate well with guests. &nbsp;</li><li>Must be willing to &ldquo;pitch-in&rdquo; and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. &nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>OTHER ABILITIES</p><ul><li>Ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees and other departments.</li><li>Maintain a presentable appearance, behavior and manner at all times.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li></ul><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p><ul><li>While performing duties of this job, the team member regularly is required to stand; use hands to finger or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear in person or on a radio.&nbsp;</li><li>The team member occasionally is required to climb or balance; stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, or crawl.&nbsp;</li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW1038421 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW1038421 BCX8\">Requires ability to lift up to 80-150 pounds occasionally throughout the work week but may lift 30 - 40 pounds intermittently during work shift.</span></span></li></ul><p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p><p>Working outside and inside the resort.
