It's a position for someone who takes ownership of technical delivery end to end — from receiving a well-defined scope to making the architectural decisions that determine what gets shipped and how.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The ideal candidate is someone who:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Has deep, hands-on experience with Laravel and WordPress at scale</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Knows how to navigate legacy systems and high-pressure incidents without losing composure</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Takes documentation and code quality as seriously as the work itself</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Thrives in a multi-project agency environment where priorities shift and standards don't</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Engineering &amp; Delivery</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead the technical direction on Laravel and WordPress projects from scoping through to delivery</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain and improve legacy web systems, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Produce clean, well-documented and maintainable code across all projects</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Collaboration &amp; Standards</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work closely with the Business Analyst to receive project scopes and translate requirements into well-structured technical solutions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with the Tech Lead to define and uphold company-wide development standards and best practices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Participate in code reviews and contribute to raising the overall quality of the team's output</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Planning &amp; Process</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, estimate and deliver projects of varying complexity</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting priorities as business needs evolve</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle, covering technical decisions, architecture and processes</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What We're Looking For</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Experience</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Extensive, demonstrable experience in PHP development with a track record of delivering complex projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Deep hands-on experience with Laravel and WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A solid history of handling incidents on critical systems — you've been in high-pressure situations, you know how to diagnose, recover and follow through</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A background in a multi-project agency or similarly fast-paced environment where juggling priorities is the norm</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Skills</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong proficiency in core frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript and jQuery</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Comfortable working with SSH-based tools and remote server environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proven experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL, including query optimisation and schema design</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A strong appreciation for documentation — you write it, you maintain it, and you understand its value</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The kind of problem-solving instinct and technical confidence that comes with having handled real-world complexity at scale</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Nice to Have</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and web performance optimisation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue or Next.js</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including deployment pipelines and environment configuration</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control best practices using Git</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
