The Netcracker Application Specialist is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of the Netcracker OSS/BSS suite, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and delivering continuous improvements in system performance, availability, and functionality. This role serves as a key liaison between technical teams, business users, and external vendors to ensure optimal use and evolution of the Netcracker platform in line with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Configure, customize, and support Netcracker OSS/BSS modules including Order Management, Inventory Management, Service Fulfillment, and Billing.
Monitor application health and performance; identify, diagnose, and resolve application-related issues promptly.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and release deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Support system integration efforts between Netcracker and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, network management tools).
Analyze and optimize application workflows to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents and service requests related to the Netcracker platform.
Work closely with Netcracker vendor support for issue resolution and change requests.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
Assist in user training and onboarding related to Netcracker systems and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing Netcracker OSS/BSS applications.
Solid understanding of telecom business processes (order to cash, service provisioning, customer lifecycle management).
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), UNIX/Linux environments, and shell scripting.
Familiarity with integration technologies such as SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and middleware platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
Experience with network inventory and resource modeling within Netcracker.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible) is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
