Overview Minco is a global provider of thermal solutions, temperature sensing and control solutions, and flex circuit solutions for medical, aerospace, defense, oil and gas, power generation, and other high-reliability applications. Our experienced team couples advanced product technologies, expert design and engineering services, and a deep understanding of our customers’ applications to provide comprehensive solutions that meet exacting requirements for quality, reliability, and performance. Minco is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer II to lead and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and experience in PCB (printed circuit board) or flexible circuit fabrication, focusing on continuous process improvement and yield optimization. Responsibilities Lead and optimize process improvements, equipment qualifications, and implement solutions to improve yield, reduce scrap, and enhance productivity. Monitor and continuously improve manufacturing processes, achieving performance goals such as less than 3% scrap and over 99% product performance perfection. Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement profit improvement measures across processes and materials. Ensure timely technical support for production, engineering, and quality teams. Develop and manage comprehensive process documentation that ensures safety, quality, and reproducibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and ensure compliance with all relevant standards (e.g., NADCAP, AS9100). Implement preventive maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime and performance. Ensure adherence to all safety standards and company policies. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB / flexible circuit / heater fabrication and related processes, such as lamination, laser processing, photolithography. Fine wire experience is a plus. Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with risk, failure, and statistical analysis tools, as well as ERP systems and Microsoft applications. Why Minco?
