We delivery Tactical Communication Information Systems (CIS) to Land Forces around the world through Vehicle Prime Contractors for fighting and support vehicles.  The hardware, software and systems integration that our engineers deliver on a daily basis ensure soldiers are never alone, and always aware. From headquarters to vehicles to the individual soldier, your work helps them accomplish their mission, while keeping them safe. We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer co-op to join our International TacCIS System Integration team delivering CIS solutions for armoured vehicles programs for European NATO nations. As a Systems Integration Engineer co-op on the International TacCIS team, you can expect to: Assist in the setup and execution of product and platform-level tests Execute hardware and software tests and record results Assist with test logs and files, etc. to support full and complete test documentation Support development of test plans, test cases and procedures Participate in integration and verification tests in the lab Interact with software engineering, systems engineering, and solution teams Work with Windows terminals, Networking (routing, VLANs), Microsoft applications, radio secure bearers, voice and data networks, and automation and troubleshooting tools Required Skills & Experience Currently pursuing a University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Software Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent technical degree. Assets It would be excellent if the candidate had a combination of the following qualities, but we will work with them to grow in these areas: Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and in a collaborative team environment. Enthusiastic contributor, willing to learn new skills and take on ownership of work. Sound communication skills and excellent collaboration skills. Good presentation skills, preparing and presenting. Solid problem solving skills with a willingness to develop a shared understanding of the problem with others. Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada. Compensation The expected hourly rate for this position is $21.20 – $33.23. Final compensation will be determined based on your relevant work experience to date. As part of student placement, you will be eligible for quarterly pay increases.
