You can build your future here!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>THE OPPORTUNITY</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Compact Equipment Repair Specialist</strong> to join our growing operations at our <strong>Lacombe, Louisiana</strong> location. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The Compact Construction Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing Caterpillar Compact (BCP) equipment at our shop or onsite at customer locations. Candidates require a strong work ethic to complete tasks efficiently and safely with minimal supervision.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>YEARLY POTENTIAL</strong></p><p><br></p><p>$60,000 - $120,000 yearly</p><p>The yearly range indicated is representative of the hourly rate, including typical overtime. This range is based on a technician’s experience, skills, education and training. For technicians, overtime is typically calculated on a daily basis after 8 hours worked.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>YOUR CONTRIBUTION</strong></p><ul><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and reconditioning of all components of compact equipment such as electrical codes, engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, power generation and power trains</li><li>Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on time submission of information according to Caterpillar standards and technical service manuals</li><li>Understand Caterpillar exchange parts process and inancial cost analysis of repairs for our customers</li><li>Tests and verifies proper operation of all repairs</li><li>Prepares and completes all work order documents on our Caterpillar customer service report software systems; in addition, accesses databases required to complete the job</li><li>Completes assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate time and re-work standards</li><li>Ability to act with a great sense of urgency to meet customer needs and work under fast-paced, time-constraining circumstances.</li></ul><p><strong>YOUR VALUE</strong></p><ul><li>You will promote positive customer service according to Caterpillar and Louisiana Cat expectations</li><li>You will have the tools and building blocks to MAKE A CAREER here at Louisiana Cat.
