    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Location: Wichita, KS</strong></p>\n<p><strong>💰 Pay Range: $64.00 – $74.00/hour</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EXPLEO GROUP USA is currently looking for an Expert/Consultant <strong>Stress Engineer </strong>(Metallic/Composite, Fuselage, Structure) (Level 4-5) to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Wichita, KS.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Stress Engineer will apply knowledge of engineering principles, theories, concepts, industry practices, and standards to deliver high-quality design engineering solutions while assuring procedural compliance within assigned engineering project teams.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, organize and prioritize work contents based on project deliverables.</li>\n <li>Perform detailed stress analysis of aircraft metallic and composite fuselage components, by classical hand analysis as well as Finite Element methods, to support structural design change efforts.</li>\n <li>Review and analyze design changes.</li>\n <li>Check to fatigue/static/damage tolerance (DT) loads.</li>\n <li>Generate stress substantiation reports.</li>\n <li>Develop or review structural qualification plans in accordance with OEM standards and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Review and approve vendor drawings, stress reports, and test reports when requested.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with design engineers, team leads, suppliers, and technical management to ensure compliance with regulatory and project requirements.</li>\n <li>Participate in design reviews and present stress findings while challenging design solutions where appropriate.</li>\n <li>Compile and generate progress reports to communicate deliverable status.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate strong work ethic and urgency in completing assignments.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Structural or related discipline)</li>\n <li>Level 4: 9 - 14+ years of Aerospace Stress Engineering experience with recognized technical expertise</li>\n <li>Prior experience using stress analysis tools and methods</li>\n <li>Experience with both composite and metallic structures</li>\n <li>Must have Boeing program experience</li>\n <li>Experience in static (FE and free body), fatigue, and transient analysis</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Nastran, Patran, Abaqus</li>\n <li>Strong capability in classical hand calculations and FEM methods</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>At Expleo Group USA, we value expertise, innovation, and collaboration.
