The Master Special Education Teacher will work hand-in-hand with the school leadership to promote a positive school culture that focuses on implementing a best practices education model to achieve optimal results for students on the autism spectrum.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties:</span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Coordinate IEP Service and delivery of Specially Designed Instruction for designated students</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Manage all aspects of the IEP, including scheduling meetings, completing paperwork, and monitoring progress.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Manage educational programming for students on caseload</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Support classroom staff in the implementation of each IEP</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintains knowledge of special education teaching methods, research, and best practices through professional development and study.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Oversight of staff in creating a safe learning environment </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Oversight of accommodations and modifications to the adopted curriculum</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Analyze IEP data bi-weekly to make instructional decisions </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Parent communication</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Training and oversight of structured teaching planning, organizing, and implementing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Staff communication/feedback </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Collaboration with ABA Managers for behavior and/or data analysis</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain substitute plans in case of absence</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participate in all duties and responsibilities as appropriate for an AZACS faculty member  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Collect, analyze, and report data in a meaningful manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Celebrates the achievements and successes of students.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Regular and consistent attendance is considered an essential job duty</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Performs other duties as assigned</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
