Our products protect human life and personal property, improve the quality of life, generate economic prosperity, and connect society.</p>\n<p>Titan Florida LLC has an opening for an <strong>Equipment Operator</strong> for the Corkscrew Mine located in Estero, FL.  This wage non-exempt position will include the operation of excavators, dozers, front-end-loaders, and haul trucks.  The position will report to the Production Supervisor, or their designee.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform an adequate pre-shift inspection of equipment and report any safety hazards and concerns promptly.</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment to OEM specifications and in good working order.</li>\n <li>Fill out all required documentation and submit to supervision in timely fashion.</li>\n <li>Operate bulldozers such as Komatsu D65 and John Deere 850 class.  Must be able to carry grade.</li>\n <li>Operate excavators such as Komatsu PC490 and John Deere 670 class.</li>\n <li>Operate front end loaders such as Komatsu WA500 and John Deere 844K/904P class.</li>\n <li>Operate haul trucks such as Komatsu HM405 or Volvo A45G class.</li>\n <li>Perform utility tasks such as shoveling, water hosing, and others as required.</li>\n <li>Perform grade work and clearing as directed.</li>\n <li>Maintain dragline pad, drill pad, and haul roads. </li>\n <li>Drain wet areas. </li>\n <li>Build lime rock roads.</li>\n <li>Load customer trucks as directed.  The Yard remains open from 6am-4pm.</li>\n <li>Assist with required preventive maintenance on the equipment.  Grease and fuel own equipment.</li>\n <li>Follow all safety checks, company policies, and MSHA regulations.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work in multiple pieces of equipment in a day based on the needs of that day.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Safety-minded.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of equipment operation and industry practices.</li>\n <li>Experience with bulldozers, excavators, and loaders a must.</li>\n <li>Experienced Miner in MSHA Part 46 – preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous mining experience a plus.</li>\n <li>Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.</li>\n <li>Ability to speak, read, and write English.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow the oral and written instructions to complete tasks.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li>\n <li>Able to walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with others.</li>\n <li>Capable of working in confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Shift:</u></em></strong></p>\n<p>Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
