Demonstrate some working knowledge with data warehouse and display excellent communication skills to be comfortable enough to interact with business areas to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is expected to be hybrid.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>NYC Salary Range - $105,000-$145,000  annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.</p>\n<h2>What you'll do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU’s mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors.</li>\n <li>Design and develop dashboards and KPIs in Tableau/Power BI and telling a story based on insights from data.</li>\n <li>Communicate and work closely with team members including Analysts, Product Managers, and business users to gather requirements, troubleshoot, modify, and enhance existing BI assets.</li>\n <li>Verify  accuracy of data in dashboards, reports, data extracts and data warehouse.</li>\n <li>Resolve data quality issues, dashboard performance issues, and database performance issues.</li>\n <li>Evaluate, design, propose, and secure approval for all design and implementation.</li>\n <li>Work with multiple environments for development, testing, and deploying in production.</li>\n <li>Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.</li>\n <li>Follow the organization’s data protection and network securities and antivirus policies.</li>\n <li>Stay abreast of industry trends, and attend training, conferences, and seminars according to organization’s business requirements.</li>\n <li>Participate in Credit Union training and development programs.</li>\n <li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we're seeking</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science</li>\n <li>Minimum 4 years of experience in developing dashboards</li>\n <li>Expertise in developing on Industry popular BI Platform like Tableau and Power BI</li>\n <li>Reporting and data warehouse development</li>\n <li>Hands on experience using Relational Databases like Microsoft SQL Server</li>\n <li>Knowledge of financial/banking industry</li>\n <li>Strong analytical ability/problem solving skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment to complete assigned projects in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Able to multi-task, taking on several initiatives at once</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What makes you stand out</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Certification in Tableau or Power BI is preferable.</li>\n   <li>Portfolio of dashboards in Tableau or Power BI is preferable.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Strong communication skills</li>\n   <li>Strong ability to take initiative and being proactive</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Who we are</h2>\n<p>UNFCU is a global not-for-profit financial institution that serves the UN community.
