Reporting to the Manager of Internal Communications, the Communications Assistant will be focused on internal and external communications, covering a variety of multi-media projects within a dynamic team-based environment.
The Communications Assistant will be an active member of a team that helps form Agnico Eagle’s point of view on a wide variety of topics and issues and communicates them across multiple channels, both internally and externally. They will be depended on for input, creativity, and the ability to adjust between working independently and being resourceful and functioning as part of as team. This role will be exposed to a rapidly growing international company, with a diverse workforce covering numerous areas of expertise, with Operations and/or Offices in Canada (Ontario, Quebec and Nunavut) Mexico, Finland and Australia.
Above all, we are looking for an enthusiastic team-player willing to apply their knowledge and be up for any communications and digital media tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide intranet (SharePoint) posting support for intranets globally and the new intranet global build project in multiple languages Provide content development, layout, graphic design and posting to AEM TV via content management system Provide support/ assistance with content management for Digital Asset management Tool Provide creative graphic design, content development, translation coordination and support for various global and Toronto-based communications, plans and campaigns for various corporate departments Support in coordinating and producing content to promote employee events, townhalls, awards and special employee campaigns in collaboration with the Corporate Office Human Resources team Develop and produce content (researching, writing, coordinating translations, arranging photo/video assets) Provide general administrative project support for various corporate and regional communications initiatives and projects
