    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>We are designing the grid of the future!  </strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>Power Systems Engineer </strong>to join our team supporting <strong>power plant testing, commissioning, and compliance verification</strong> for generation facilities across North America.</p>\n<p>In this role, you will lead and support <strong>remote and on-site generator compliance testing for renewable and conventional generation assets</strong>, ensuring facilities meet applicable <strong>NERC and ISO requirements</strong>. You will coordinate with on-site teams, guide testing procedures in real time, and analyze test results to validate proper plant and controller performance.</p>\n<p>This position offers a unique opportunity to work on <strong>specialized generator compliance testing</strong>, including ISO (ERCOT, SPP, PJM, etc) and NERC (MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027) testing, while collaborating with plant operators, engineers, and equipment vendors to support reliable grid operations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>How you can make an impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and support <strong>generator compliance testing and commissioning activities</strong> for renewable and conventional power plants.</li>\n <li>Conduct and oversee <strong>remote testing sessions</strong>, directing on-site technicians and plant operators during testing procedures.</li>\n <li>Provide <strong>real-time guidance to on-site teams</strong> executing testing protocols at generation facilities.</li>\n <li>Monitor and analyze <strong>live test data</strong> to verify plant performance and identify potential issues.</li>\n <li>Support compliance testing for <strong>NERC standards including MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027</strong>.</li>\n <li>Work with plant operators, SCADA teams, OEMs, and other stakeholders to ensure proper test execution.</li>\n <li>Interpret test results and prepare <strong>technical reports documenting compliance and plant performance</strong>.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development and improvement of <strong>testing procedures and workflows</strong>.</li>\n <li>Support engineering analysis related to <strong>power plant controllers, inverter-based resources, and generator performance.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Electrical Engineering</strong> with a focus in power systems.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting <strong>power plant testing, commissioning, or generator compliance activities</strong>.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>ERCOT and/or NERC compliance testing requirements</strong>.</li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027 testing standards</strong>.</li>\n <li>Understanding of <strong>power plant controllers and generator control systems</strong>.</li>\n <li>Ability to <strong>lead technical discussions and direct on-site teams during testing activities</strong>.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills and confidence presenting technical information to stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze technical data and produce <strong>clear engineering documentation and reports</strong>.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience conducting <strong>generator performance testing for renewable or conventional generation facilities</strong>.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>SCADA systems, plant control systems, or inverter-based resources</strong>.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>power flow and power system fundamentals</strong>.</li>\n <li>Experience working with utilities, independent power producers, or renewable developers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Lead the Change!</strong></p>\n<p>Be a part of an innovative team shaping the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence.
