Description
Overview
The Laboratory Technologist works under general supervision to perform difficult and complex laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.
Responsibilities:
Perform chemical, microscopic, and hematologic, immunohematology, and microbiologic test to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
Process and handle specimens appropriately
Calibrate and Run QC according to policies and procedures
Use computers for report handling and quality control
Qualifications:
Associates Degree and Graduation from Accredited Clinical Laboratory Training Program OR Bachelors in Laboratory Science
12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
