Attend and Actively Participate in Meetings</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Attend all scheduled SSC meetings (typically 4-6  times per year).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Arrive on time and stay for the full duration of each meeting. Notify the chair or school administrator in advance if you are unable to attend.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">2. Be Informed and Prepared</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Review agendas and materials in advance to participate fully in discussions. Stay informed about school programs, budgets, and needs that affect student learning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Complete any assigned follow-up tasks between meetings.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">3. Uphold SSC’s Purpose and Legal Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Collaborate in approving, and monitoring the Local Accountability Plan (LCAP) and related budgets. Ensure that decisions align with state and federal guidelines and prioritize student outcomes.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">4. Represent Stakeholder Groups</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Serve as a voice for the stakeholder group you represent (parents, students, teachers, classified staff, or administration). Share relevant input from your group and communicate SSC updates back to them.</span><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Encourage others in your group to be engaged in school improvement efforts.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">5. Maintain a Collaborative and Respectful Environment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Engage in open and respectful dialogue with all members.Value diverse perspectives and work toward consensus whenever possible.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Keep discussions and decisions focused on improving student achievement and school climate.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Position/membership open to all school-site employees and must be nominated and then elected</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Events must be pre-approved by the Principal or Assistant Principal</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">In order to receive this stipend, committee members must: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Arrive to meetings on time and sign in</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Actively participate in meetings as reported back by the committee head</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Attend at least 98% of meetings as determined by the sign-in sheets</span></li>\n</ul>",
