With a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency, you will manage survey operations critical to the layout and control of construction activities. This hands-on role requires expertise in surveying technologies such as Trimble systems, GPS, and total stations, along with the ability to perform complex calculations for layout, volume, and material estimations. You will be responsible for conducting site investigations, verifying boundaries, tracking project progress, and ensuring compliance with design specifications. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction surveying, with a strong understanding of FAA regulations and experience using CAD software. You must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced field environments. A commitment to leadership, safety, and quality is essential to succeed in this role. District Overview Kiewit Southwest District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water projects. We operate primarily in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. Southwest's projects include a wide range of infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, runways, terminals, transit systems, power plants, water treatment facilities, dams, canals, wastewater treatment plants and tunnels.
