    "description": "<p>LaRiviere, Inc. is looking for a skilled foreman who is also a heavy equipment operator for heavy civil work in the Moscow, ID / Clarkston, WA area. This a field position at job sites around the central Idaho region. This position will work directly with the superintendent to handle day to day construction operations on site. This position offers excellent growth and training opportunities. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Great pay dependent on experience level. LaRiviere offers a competitive benefit package including 100% company paid medical insurance for the employee, paid holidays and PTO, and 401K.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Primary Job Function:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan workflow for most efficient use of resources.</li>\n<li>Assist in scheduling manpower and equipment. </li>\n<li>Plan for and oversee safety compliance on all jobs. Collaborate with safety director.</li>\n<li>Train personnel on safe work practices.</li>\n<li>Ability to operate construction related heavy equipment (Excavator, Skid-steer, bulldozer, backhoe, front end loader, grader, articulating haul truck, etc.) proficiently and safely at all times and in all types of conditions.</li>\n<li>Position requires continuously and frequently bending, climbing stairs/steps, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 100lbs with assistance.), repeated push pull motion, simple grasping, fine manipulation. This position will assist with manual labor activities as necessary.</li>\n<li>Ability to work safely around other moving machinery, exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, and gases. Required to work in all weather conditions. Duties will vary based on weather and time of season.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Reports to: Superintendent </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Qualifications / Expectations</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heavy Equipment Operating Experience: 5 years </li>\n<li>3 years leadership experience on heavy civil construction projects. </li>\n<li>Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL a plus)</li>\n<li>Ability to operate a variety of construction heavy equipment.</li>\n<li>Must have reliable transportation to area job sites</li>\n<li>Strong work ethic and the willingness to report to work on time.</li>\n<li>Computer skills</li>\n<li>Ability to read plans</li>\n<li>Act as a management representative with customers, subcontractors, municipalities, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Work Hours: Depends on needs of job(s), overtime likely</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Daily Duties:<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>1. Show up 15-20 minutes prior to employees arrival to inspect site</p>\n<p>2. Complete a thorough walk around and ensure completion of daily equipment checklists by operators<br>3. Attend and facilitate regular safety meetings<br>4. Work and communicate well in a team-oriented environment<br>5. Occasionally help with operator / labor work<br>6. Report any safety concerns to your immediate supervisor<br>7. Report hours and job duties correctly on daily timecards<br>8. Keep equipment clean. Good housekeeping is a MUST</p>\n<p>9.
