Reporting to the Mill Mechanical General Supervisor, you will be part of the Mill Maintenance Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Supervise and coordinate the surface mill maintenance crew to ensure work is performed correctly, safely and on time with minimal impact on mine productivity; Hold daily safety/communication meetings with crew; Lead and coordinate a team of tradespeople to effectively maintain process equipment; Ensure crews are trained to work in a safe, productive, and environmentally sound manner; Inspect work to identify training needs; Supervise and manage performance in step with set KPI’s, including planned and responsive maintenance and shutdowns; Motivate and instruct all crew members when possible; Review and sign off work-orders in CMMS program; Communicate with other department personnel to plan and schedule maintenance work; Assist in revising programs, procedures, parts, systems, etc.; All other duties as may be assigned.
