We have an in-house Architectural Finishes & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager at our Fort Myers office. What you will do: Develop and update the master project schedule monthly in collaboration with the Superintendent Conduct constructability reviews and collaborate with Estimators on alternate construction means and methods, site logistics, general requirements, hoisting systems, and staffing requirements. Participate in preconstruction meetings with Owner/Architect, monitoring document design and development, establishing goals and milestones, and overseeing project development within budget and schedule. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with project stakeholders. Assign project team responsibilities, establish administrative procedures, develop performance goals, and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Develop effective communication mechanisms and conflict resolution strategies among project participants. Support in recruiting, training, and mentoring new employees. Ensure compliance with company processes and technology utilization. Manage accounting functions and budget, prepare schedule of values, implement billing process, expedite Owner payments, and establish positive cash flow. Prepare and submit owner Change Order Requests, review Owner Change Orders, and update Job Cost Budget. Submit accurate monthly Project Status Reports, identify and manage risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation and capture strategies. Regularly monitor construction progress, hold status meetings with subcontractors. Manage Subcontractor performance, provide notices, and take corrective actions for any issues. Prepare detailed Project Information/Close-Out Forms and Photography for the Marketing Database. What you will need to be successful: Minimum of ten (10) + years’ experience in managing commercial projects valued at $25 million and up. Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong decision making/problem solving skills.
