Some of the amazing perks of teaching with Arts Academy:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our admin team handles all business operations including scheduling new students into your schedule, marketing, billing, planning recitals and events, etc. — enabling you to focus solely on engaging your students.</li>\n<li>A fully stocked incentive store for students.</li>\n<li>Amazing performance opportunities for both students and teachers.</li>\n<li>Ongoing training and career development (all of which is paid)</li>\n<li>Company parties, raffles/prizes, and events with others in the music industry.</li>\n<li>Lots of swag!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Duties: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Instructing students for 30 minute lessons</li>\n<li>Assessing new student abilities </li>\n<li>Creating lesson plans</li>\n<li>Preparing students for recitals</li>\n<li>Facilitating student participation in recitals</li>\n<li>Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning </li>\n<li>Communicating with parents/guardians on students progress</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels</li>\n<li>Degree in Music Education or Music Performance is not required, but is always a plus</li>\n<li>Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview</li>\n<li>Open to first-time teachers and experienced teachers alike</li>\n<li>Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us</li>\n<li>The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.) is always welcome!</li>\n<li>Please submit a Music Specific Resume</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation</span></p>\n<p>$25.00 per hour</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span><br></p>\n<p>One Music Schools is one of the only music education companies in Oregon to offer a benefits package!
