Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.</em></p>\n<p><em>If you are viewing this posting on a job site, please visit our company page and search for the opportunity to view the pay range: https://careers-mycmh.icims.com/jobs</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>\n<p>The Referral Coordinator is responsible for patient referrals, pre-authorizations, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and providing general office support duties. This position provides and tracks authorizations and referrals, ensures documents are accurately handled in a timeline manner, and performs daily monitoring of all initial referrals and follow-up tasks.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)</li>\n <li>Previous experience operating personal computers and using windows-based programs, including Microsoft Office</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Six (6) months experience working with various insurance referral and documentation needs</li>\n <li>One (1) year directly related experience or training</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic medical coverage plans including HMO, PPO, State programs and other types of coverage</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Medical Terminology</li>\n <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish</li>\n <li>Experience using Electronic Medical Record software</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Nationally Recognized.
