Come and work for a company that is willing to invest in your training and provides a clear path for growth! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Come and join the Boss Shop Team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Entry Level Shop Technician is responsible for performing entry level mechanical repairs in a timely and professional manner.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Duties/Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes assigned training programs, evaluations, and e-learning within designated timeframes.</li>\n <li>Performs preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacement.</li>\n <li>Greases trucks and trailers.</li>\n <li>Performs tire repair, replacement, and related services.</li>\n <li>Conducts CSA inspections and emergency road service calls.</li>\n <li>Perform basic electrical diagnosis and repairs, including lighting, wiring, and 7-way replacements.</li>\n <li>Perform minor trailer maintenance and body repairs.</li>\n <li>Conducts basic air system repairs, including airline replacement, fittings, glad hands, and splices.</li>\n <li>Performs battery testing and replacement.</li>\n <li>Maintains cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.</li>\n <li>Ensures all tools, equipment, and service vehicles are clean, functional, and properly maintained.</li>\n <li>Properly stores parts, tires, and supplies.</li>\n <li>Accurately completes work orders, including labor, parts, and customer information.</li>\n <li>Ensures total customer satisfaction and uphold the integrity of the company.</li>\n <li>Follows all company safety policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Completes OSHA Skills Demonstration and required safety training.</li>\n <li>Maintains current LMS training requirements.</li>\n <li>Provides friendly, professional, and competent customer service.</li>\n <li>Reports to work as scheduled and on time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to complete TIA tire training.</li>\n <li>DOT Medical Card required at Boss Shops.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, and other relevant certifications as required.</li>\n <li>Successful completion of internal technician training programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation and phone.</li>\n <li>Availability to work weekends, holidays, and as needed.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively in English (if applicable).</li>\n <li>Demonstrated commitment to friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.</li>\n <li>Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with team members.</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
