    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure that all safety, environmental and quality policies and practices are understood and adhered to by all employees and contractors.</li><li>Provide day-to-day supervision of maintenance personnel.</li><li>Provide work assignments for preventive maintenance of equipment and/or repair of equipment.</li><li>Place an order for necessary repair material and spare parts.</li><li>Analyze equipment failure to prevent future problems.</li><li>Assist with upgrades to plant infrastructure including but not limited to roadways, power distribution, city water distribution, natural gas distribution, plant air distribution, etc.</li><li>Assist in capital expenditure planning by providing input regarding equipment failure history and recommending equipment upgrades.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.</li><li>Establish and enforce first-class standards of housekeeping.</li><li>Responsible for training of department personnel.</li><li>Perform root cause analysis to determine failures and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Ensuring facilities, equipment and control systems are maintained in a condition to safely and cost-effectively produce quality products.</li></ul><p><strong>Education/Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>High School Graduate - minimum</li><li>AS or BS in Engineering preferred</li><li>Training in all areas of electrical/mechanical testing and repairs</li><li>5 years of &quot;front line&quot; supervisory experience in a line manufacturing role</li><li>Experience with stainless steel and specialty alloys desireable</li><li>Strong electrical experience in an industrial or steel related environment</li><li>Experience with high voltage distribution systems</li><li>PLC/Drives/Controls a plus</li></ul><p>Other Skills/Abilities</p><ul><li>Strong computer skills</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Communicate with all levels of employees</li><li>Ability to multi-task</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>Universal Stainless is an Equal Opportunity Employer. &nbsp;All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</em></p></div></div></div>\n",
