We truly believe in our core values: doing 'whatever it takes' for our customers, colleagues and communities.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>The role</em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> The successful candidate will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report directly to our Head of Field Operations.</li>\n<li>Fulfil the customer-facing responsibilities of the Engineer Operations Team.</li>\n<li>Liaise with suppliers to ensure the smooth running and cost control of our on-site operations.</li>\n<li>Assist our Diary Coordination and Field Support teams to improve efficiency &amp; act as a point of contact for engineers, taking updates and helping to resolve on-site challenges.</li>\n<li>Develop technical knowledge to be able to provide support with Drainage, Subsidence, Off Mains &amp; Water Mains calls, enhancing collaboration and decision making on site.</li>\n<li>Develop people management skills to be able to provide coverage for line managers in the External Operations Support Team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>We'd love to hear from you if</em></span><em>:</em> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a high level of attention to detail.</li>\n<li>You have strong communication skills.</li>\n<li>You enjoy working in a team environment.</li>\n<li>You have experience of dealing with customers over the phone.</li>\n<li>You are passionate with the curiosity and creativity to solve problems.</li>\n<li>You enjoy being challenged and using your initiative to bring forward new ideas.</li>\n<li>You have the confidence to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively.</li>\n<li>You are looking for a career – we want our working relationship to be a long standing one!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will be supported by our senior leadership team who will give you the guidance and development opportunities you need to be successful in the role.
