This role supports equipment reliability through mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance while minimizing operational downtime.\\r\\n\\r\\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tPerform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to minimize downtime.\\r\\n\\tTroubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, conveyor, and mechanical systems using appropriate diagnostic procedures.\\r\\n\\tInspect, disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble malfunctioning production and processing equipment as required.\\r\\n\\tCoordinate and prioritize maintenance work orders through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).\\r\\n\\tMaintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.\\r\\n\\tSafely operate cranes, hoists, lift trucks, power tools, and maintenance equipment required to perform assigned duties.\\r\\n\\tSupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and operational efficiency.\\r\\n\\tAssist with inventory management by maintaining maintenance parts, tools, and replacement component availability.\\r\\n\\tCollaborate with production and maintenance leadership to prioritize repairs and support production goals.\\r\\n\\tMaintain technical knowledge through ongoing training and industry best practices.\\r\\n\\tEnsure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, environmental standards, and quality requirements.\\r\\n\\tSpecial projects and assignments as business dictates\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tThis position has no supervisory responsibilities\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical or apprenticeship training preferred\\r\\n\\t4-6 years of industrial maintenance or heavy equipment maintenance experience required\\r\\n\\tExperience in corrugated converting or manufacturing maintenance preferred\\r\\n\\tAdvanced mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and industrial machinery required\\r\\n\\tBasic understanding of electrical systems, PLC equipment, and CMMS systems preferred\\r\\n\\tAbility to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\\r\\n\\tMust have attention to detail and focused concentration\\r\\n\\tMust be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently\\r\\n\\tMust be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow\\r\\n\\tMust possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tRegularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the facility\\r\\n\\tFrequently required to use hands to handle tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment\\r\\n\\tMust regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move equipment, tools, and parts associated with maintenance activities\\r\\n\\tSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus\\r\\n\\tReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tRegularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, production equipment, vibrations, and varying temperatures\\r\\n\\tThe noise level requires the use of hearing protection in designated production areas\\r\\n\\tFrequently exposed to dust, humidity, fumes, and industrial manufacturing conditions\\r\\n\\tFast-paced manufacturing environment with changing operational priorities\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tWill be required to maintain various internal powered lift licenses\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nOTHER DUTIES\\r\\n\\r\\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
