    "description_html": "<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Design Project Coordinator plays a key role in bringing Barcelona Wine Bar and Corsica Wine Bar’s distinctive spaces to life. This position supports the design and development of new restaurants and renovations by coordinating between designers, architects, contractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality design. They will manage timelines, track project deliverables, and ensure brand standards are executed with excellence. This role will report directly to the Design Manager.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><align-center><em><u><strong>Please note this role is based out of our satellite office located in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will need to be based in Nashville or within a comfortable commuting distance to the city.</strong></u></em></align-center><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities &amp; Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Execute design intent through coordinated drawings, specifications, and models that meet brand and technical standards.</li><li>Translate conceptual design into detailed documentation for construction.</li><li>Prepare and maintain interior finish schedules, material specifications, and key elevations.</li><li>Review shop drawings, submittals, and samples for consistency with design intent.</li><li>Apply redlines and feedback efficiently with attention to accuracy and detail.</li><li>Maintain organized file structures, drawing revisions, and documentation across active projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead coordination with internal teams (Interior Design, Construction NRO, and Facilities) and external consultants (AOR, MEP, vendors) to ensure design execution aligns with schedule, budget, and operational needs.</li><li>Ability to review and interpret MEP and Structural drawings, provide technical feedback as needed, and lead coordination efforts to ensure design alignment.</li><li>Support Construction Administration by tracking RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications.</li><li>Attend design and OAC meetings; document and follow up on design-related action items.</li><li>Track procurement and lead times for design-driven materials and finishes.</li><li>Identify field issues and propose timely, practical solutions in coordination with the Design Project Manager.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Reinforce design and documentation standards across project deliverables.</li><li>Support continuous improvement of internal documentation systems, templates, and processes.</li><li>Perform additional tasks and duties as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Maintain high accuracy and accountability in drawings, schedules, and documentation.</li><li>Meet deadlines and respond quickly to coordination needs or field conditions.</li><li>Demonstrate a strong work ethic and multi-tasking skills</li><li>Customer-focused mindset with patience and professionalism.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience producing design and technical documentation in hospitality, restaurant, or retail environments. Construction administration experience is preferred.</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li>Familiarity with ADA, building codes, and life-safety regulations and requirements.</li><li>Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and constructability.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About Barcelona Wine Bar</strong></p><p>Barcelona Restaurants, LLC, based in Westport, CT, is one of the oldest Spanish-focused restaurant groups in America.
