These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Bag Catcher  </strong></p>\n<p>Florence, KY</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting Pay Rate of <strong>$19.02/hour</strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Available Shift</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>7am - 7pm</li>\n <li>7pm - 7am</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for catching and inspecting bags, ensuring that product meets our quality standards, with minimal waste.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards</li>\n <li>Ensure guarding is in place at all times</li>\n <li>Keep work area clean and organized, per standards</li>\n <li>Ensure that work is being performed in a manner to produce quality products, according to our quality requirements and specifications</li>\n <li>Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Follow all PPE policies, wearing steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, etc. as required</li>\n <li>Meet production targets set by management.     </li>\n <li>Catch bags as they come off machine and inspect bags for flaws in quality, assembly, print or other problems, and reject those that do not meet standards set by management</li>\n <li>Place proper number of bags into sleeve in the press</li>\n <li>Report machine adjustments and repairs to be done to Collator Tender/Adjuster Supervisor</li>\n <li>Inspect bales to ensure they are sealed properly and meet quality standards before banding together and placing on skid and banding bales together</li>\n <li>Place labels on bales, making sure they are marked correctly, neatly and are upright</li>\n <li>Spot check bales to make sure correct number of bags are enclosed  </li>\n <li>Place acceptable bales on skids by using proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Ensure machine is shut off to prevent machine damage in a timely fashion</li>\n <li>Must be able to keep up with budgeted machine speed</li>\n <li>Assist Collator Tender, if needed, while he/she performs work on machines during downtime, assisting in stripping and changing rolls and in clean-up</li>\n <li>Keep accurate production and quality reports, ensuring all required forms are filled out completely, accurately and legibly</li>\n <li>Safely clean print when needed while machine is <em>not</em> running</li>\n <li>Maintain adequate ink levels, adding ink and or PH Buffer as required</li>\n <li>Perform roll changes as necessary</li>\n <li>If no specific work instructions are given, clean-up is to be performed at your normal work area</li>\n <li>Meet/achieve safety, quality, production, waste and housekeeping goals as set forth by management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Reading, writing and basic math skills are needed to complete paperwork</li>\n <li>This is an entry level position</li>\n <li>Must have ability to discern detail and make decisions about bag quality</li>\n <li>Must be able to keep up with pace of machine</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDQSR</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
