    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A warm, wonderful family of 5 on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced, polished, and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper to join their household team. The family resides in a two-floor apartment just under 4,500 square feet and is looking for a professional who takes pride in maintaining a highly organized and well-run home environment.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is experienced in high-level housekeeping and laundry care, thrives in a collaborative household setting, and has a positive, team-oriented attitude. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone discreet, proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a friendly household alongside existing staff.</p>\n<p>The general schedule will be Sunday through Thursday from 8:00/9:00am to 6:00/7:00pm, with flexibility depending on the family’s needs. The family is also open to the candidate working alternate days and times; however, Sunday is not negotiable. The family spends the month of August in the Hamptons, and the candidate will be required to live-in and work 4 days a week, and will have 3 days off during that time. The candidate will be able to go home on days off, and commuting expenses will be covered.</p>\n<p>This position is ideal for a career housekeeper seeking a long-term role within a warm, respectful, and well-supported household environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>All aspects of full-charge housekeeping for a two-floor residence </li>\n <li>Expert-level laundry and garment care, including: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Stain treatment </li>\n   <li>Ironing and steaming </li>\n   <li>Care for delicate and high-end clothing </li>\n   <li>Closet and wardrobe organization</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Maintain overall household organization and cleanliness to a high standard </li>\n <li>Changing of linens and making beds</li>\n <li>Assist with tidying and maintaining shared spaces alongside the nanny </li>\n <li>Keep an inventory of household cleaning supplies and notify appropriate staff when to reorder</li>\n <li>Table setting and household presentation would be a plus. </li>\n <li>Work collaboratively with additional household staff </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent laundry and wardrobe management skills – ability to read labels and follow instructions</li>\n <li>Highly detail-oriented, organized, and polished </li>\n <li>Friendly, easygoing, and team-oriented personality </li>\n <li>Maintains professionalism, discretion, and efficiency in a staffed home environment  </li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a home with school-aged children </li>\n <li>Flexible and adaptable with scheduling needs </li>\n <li>Trustworthy and dependable</li>\n <li>Takes pride in their work</li>\n <li>Able to prioritize tasks without being micromanaged</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Wear the uniform provided by the family </li>\n <li>Must be able to work in the Hamptons in August</li>\n <li>Prior experience in a similar role</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of proper cleaning techniques </li>\n <li>Legal to work in the U.S.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<p>This is a salaried position of $100k+ commensurate with experience.
