          "text": "<p><strong>The Opportunity:&#xa0;</strong></p><p>We’re seeking a talented Paralegal to join Mattel’s growing Rights Management team within the Legal and Business Affairs group. Successful candidates will be experienced in entertainment and consumer products rights/intellectual property (IP) management, with the ability to execute end-to-end contract and rights management processes. This position is located at Mattel’s headquarters in Los Angeles. &#xa0;</p><p><strong>What Your Impact Will Be:&#xa0;</strong></p><p><u>Rights/IP Management</u>:</p><ul><li>Develop an expertise in Mattel’s IP portfolio and rights</li><li>Help manage historic-agreement digitization by identifying, prioritizing, and ingesting agreements into the rights management system</li><li>Analyze and interpret complex ownership and licensing arrangements with the judgment of when to further escalate inquiries</li><li>Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide guidance on rights inquiries, ensure accurate system records, and facilitate rights collision checks and resolutions</li><li>Serve as a super user of the rights management system and recommend system enhancements</li></ul><p><u>Team Collaboration</u>:</p><ul><li>Develop strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders across Legal, IT, Finance, Royalty Accounting, and business units utilizing the rights management system.</li><li>Interface routinely with Mattel’s IP, In-/Out-Licensing, Franchise, Permissions &amp; Promotions, and Digital Games legal teams</li><li>Help drive user adoption and effective use of the rights management system</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p><p>Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience working in IP or rights management within the media &amp; entertainment and/or consumer products industry, as well as the following attributes:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of IP law</li><li>Hands-on experience with market leading enterprise rights management platforms (RightsLogic preferred), including complex, multi-dimensional rights modeling (e.g., rights, territory, channel, language, product/category) supporting IP licensing and commercialization</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Tech-savvy; proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other tools such as Tableau and Power BI</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results in a timely manner</li><li>Self-starter who works independently but knows when to elevate issues and seek advice from colleagues</li><li>Attention to detail in all areas, particularly as to contract review and analysis</li></ul><p>Our ideal candidate will also:</p><ol><li><u>Partner to Supervisors and Clients</u>.
