The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, inventory integrity, and cost variance analysis, and operates under the direction of the CFO and Corporate Controller. This position reports to the CFO of ElectroCraft.&nbsp;</p><p>The Manufacturing Accounting Manager does not have responsibility for company-wide consolidation, external financial reporting, or establishment of corporate accounting policy. With facilities and customers around the globe, ElectroCraft provides advanced precision solutions with the highest reliability and lowest total cost of ownership, which is why it is trusted by both the largest brands and the newest cutting-edge companies.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong>:</p><p><strong>Functional</strong></p><ul><li>Provide financial statements with supporting schedules, perform financial analysis of the manufacturing operation, and assist in the decision-making process and the company’s financial plans and asset management.</li><li>Maintain standards and calculate Material, Labor, and Overhead costs in close collaboration with Operations staff.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining cost accounting elements in Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system.</li><li>Prepare and analyze cost variance and profitability reports to support operational review and decision-making.</li><li>Provides financial analysis and reporting in support of capital expenditure reviews and post-investment tracking.</li><li>Support Company’s Corporate Controller and financial institutions as needed for cash management and collateral reporting.</li><li>Maintain adequate fiscal records in support of external and internal audits.</li><li>Maintain appropriate transfer price policies on intercompany sales and purchases.</li><li>Review and reconciliation of month–end closing. Provide Variance vs. Budget and Forecast analysis in meaningful detail.</li><li>Ensure inventory accuracy, develop and maintain policies for identifying, reserving, and disposal of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.</li><li>Monitor and post results of cycle-count inventories; assist Operations team with analysis and reconciliation of significant variances.</li><li>Support annual budget process at two plants: under direction of Corporate Controller and CFO&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain the integrity of the financial reporting system.</li><li>Prepare financial budgets and projections for two principal manufacturing sites.</li><li>Practice continuous process improvement techniques by eliminating non-value added activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Must demonstrate the ability to create own work direction and prioritization.</li><li>Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and work on several programs simultaneously.</li><li>High levels of integrity and sense of responsibility are a must.</li><li>Ability to adapt to a changing environment.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate financial information and escalate issues through appropriate management channels.</li><li>Analytical and process-improvement mindset within a manufacturing environment</li></ul><p><strong>Interpersonal</strong></p><ul><li>Works positively with team members in order to continuously improve the business.</li><li>Has the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, analytical and reasoning skills.</li><li>Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers, suppliers, staff, and employees.</li></ul><p><strong>Business</strong></p><ul><li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Possesses thorough familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and complies with company policies and procedures accordingly.
