    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<b>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</b>\n<ul>\n<li>The Mammography Technologist performs routine screening and diagnostic mammography examinations to obtain high quality radiographs.</li>\n<li>Obtains images of excellent diagnostic quality to optimally demonstrate anatomy and/or pathology while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients.</li>\n<li>The technologist educates the patient/family about the procedure as well as provides pre and post procedure instructions.</li>\n<li>The technologist takes measures to provide and care for the patient’s safety and properly utilizes procedure related patient care/support devices appropriate for the age of the patient.</li>\n<li>Alerts Supervisor and/or appropriate staff of potential problems or equipment malfunctions.</li>\n<li>Maintains a relaxed environment to calm anxious patients.</li>\n<li>Also performs special procedures, assists with quality control testing, and ordering of supplies.</li>\n<li>Offers guidance to less experienced staff.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>",
