    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Experienced Registered Nurse to join the Expedited Observation team. This role will be full-time day shift, (including some weekends), 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for eligible nurses.&nbsp;</p><p><i>Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. The Expedited Observation Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital is located very close to the Emergency Room and comprised of 8 beds. This unit is considered a true short stay unit with ED type bays. This fast paced unit yields a high patient turnover with the average length of stay being less than 20 hours. The patient population consists of cardiac, neurological, medical, and surgical patients. If RN has an associate’s degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.</li><li><strong>Experience</strong>: Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.</li><li><strong>Certification:&nbsp;</strong>Currently licensed&nbsp;as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualification:&nbsp;</strong>Previous experience in Observation, Med Surg Telemetry, ED, or Cardiac Telemetry strongly preferred.</p>",
