Description

We are looking for an SMS Deliverability Lead to own and scale the global messaging performance across multiple high-growth markets. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that millions of time-sensitive, revenue-critical messages reach users reliably, instantly, and cost-efficiently. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of product, infrastructure, and CRM, where your work directly affects conversion, retention, and overall business performance. The role is based in Valencia, Spain (relocation support is provided). Responsibilities: Take full ownership of SMS deliverability across key GEOs, ensuring maximum reach, speed, and reliability Build and optimise routing strategies across multiple providers to balance performance, cost, and scalability Manage and continuously evaluate SMS vendors and aggregators, driving quality and commercial improvements Develop anti-filtering strategies to minimise carrier blocking and protect sender reputation Monitor delivery performance (DLRs, latency, failure rates) and proactively resolve issues before they impact users Partner with CRM and Product teams to support high-volume campaigns, transactional messaging, and lifecycle flows Optimise message throughput and infrastructure to support rapid scaling across new markets Ensure compliance with local telecom regulations and data privacy standards (GDPR and others) Identify and implement new tools, providers, and technical solutions to improve delivery efficiency Requirements: 4–6+ years of experience in SMS deliverability within iGaming / gambling industry Deep understanding of routing, carrier behaviour, filtering mechanisms, and sender reputation Hands-on experience with SMS gateways, APIs, and multi-provider setups Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn delivery data into actionable improvements Experience managing vendors and negotiating performance and pricing Ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment At least Upper-Intermediate level of English What’s in it for you: Direct impact on core business metrics - conversion, retention, and revenue Ownership of a critical communication channel in a global product environment Opportunity to work with high-scale traffic and complex multi-GEO infrastructure Relocation package (visa support, flights, temporary accommodation) Competitive compensation and performance-driven culture
