This position will assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP&#39;S, work instructions, and SQF requirements are in compliance.</strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Roles and Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated personal protective equipment and meet OSHA safety requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Supports and adheres to all Hood&rsquo;s procedures and protocols</li><li>Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member.</li><li>Provides feedback to the shift lead and supervisor on equipment or production issues.</li><li>Ensures all environmental standards and requirements are met</li><li>Sets-up machine to specifications outlined on the order</li><li>Sets-up machine to standard set-up time &amp; procedure</li><li>Operates machine to standard production target and waste target</li><li>Trouble shoots machine when it is down or not performing to standard</li><li>Assists maintenance with machine repairs and preventive maintenance</li><li>Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures&nbsp;</li><li>Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member</li><li>Ensures work area is kept clean according to facility/corporate standards</li><li>Adhere to all GMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates and quality requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Cleans machine and area according to schedule</li><li>Performs inspections per Quality Procedure</li><li>Completes all required tracking forms (Job Plan, Shift Run Report, Quality Sheet, and checklists)</li><li>Ensures pre-setup tasks are completed for each order.</li><li>Initiates and supports improvement initiatives</li><li>Operate and maintain assigned line to maintain safety, quality and productivity in a 24/7 facility working 12 hour rotating shifts</li><li>Other duties as instructed by Supervisor or Lead</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma with 2+ years in general warehouse operations.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and understand simple written materials. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to write simple statements and numbers.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to perform arithmetic calculations with fractions and decimals.</li><li>Previous Operator experience preferred as well as minor mechanical troubleshooting experience.</li><li>Average dexterity and coordination.
