We serve more than 1,200 individuals each year through more than a dozen programs, ranging from music therapy for children to supervised group living for adults. ADEC provides services in both Elkhart and St Joseph counties.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Position:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Our Maintenance Personnel performs maintenance, construction, and grounds keeping tasks to provide safe, functional, and attractive buildings and grounds in addition to minor vehicle repairs.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>The Maintenance Personnel will:</p><ul><li>Responsible for all maintenance, construction and grounds keeping tasks as assigned.</li><li>Maintains good stewardship and safety in the use and care of all equipment and materials.</li><li>Completes all Reporting and documents requires as assigned.</li><li>Responsible for correcting and/or reporting all safety hazards to all parties involved.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with purchasing necessary equipment and materials as needed and assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong><u>Knowledge and experience in all round property and building maintenance required, including painting&nbsp;</u></strong></li><li>Ability to lift 60 pounds</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Proof of car insurance</li><li>Pass background checks and negative drug test</li></ul><p><strong>Why Should you Apply as a Maintenance Personnel?</strong></p><p>ADEC has been providing services to children, adults and families with developmental disabilities for nearly 70 years.</p><p>ADEC is a stable well respected active member of the community employing people in both Elkhart and St. Joseph counties.
