    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><b>Position Title</b>:&nbsp;Indirect Buyer Specialist&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><b>Mission/Purpose:&nbsp;</b>Contribute to achieving Metalsa’s business objectives through the efficient sourcing and procurement of cost-competitive, high quality non-stocked indirect materials and services in the quantity, form and timing required to support operational needs.</span></p>\n<p><span><b>Essential Functions and Key Accountabilities</b></span></p>\n<p><span>• Supplier Identification and Development: Identify and/or develop an optimal, rationalized (“right-sized”) supply base that is stable, highly competitive and well-positioned in terms of total cost, responsiveness, quality, delivery, geographic proximity, technological capabilities and the ability to provide innovative solutions that support Metalsa’s current and future supply needs.</span></p>\n<p><span>• Pricing and Commercial Terms Negotiation: Execute the request for quotation process for assigned indirect materials and services in accordance with user requirements.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>Negotiate pricing, service levels and commercial terms to drive the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while supporting operational needs and sustaining quality levels in accordance with Metalsa and customer requirements.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>• Operational Execution: Ensuring compliance with established Metalsa authorization levels, execute Purchase Orders and delivery agreements with selected suppliers. Conduct order follow-up activity as required, including expediting delivery, arranging invoice payment and resolving discrepancies or escalations.</span></p>\n<p><span>• Cost Reduction/ Quality Initiatives: Lead/ participate in cost reduction initiatives and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) improvement projects with suppliers and key operational stakeholders.</span></p>\n<p><span>• Supplier Performance and Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers. Hold suppliers accountable for high performance levels and drive continuous improvement.</span></p>\n<p><span>• Records and Confidentiality: Document activity and retain historical files that are organized, accurate and accessible to designated Metalsa staff as needed, while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality within Metalsa with the supply base.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><b>Academic and Experience</b></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span>Industrial/ Systems/ Mechanical Engineering, International Commerce or other relevant 4-year degree (preferred) with 2-5 years of Procurement/Strategic Sourcing/ Purchasing/ Supply Chain), or minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/strategic sourcing/purchasing/supply chain. Experience within the automotive/industrial manufacturing industry preferred</span></p>\n<p><span>Experience managing multiple commodities preferred</span></p>\n<p><span>Negotiations</span></p>\n<p><span>Cost Saving Initiatives&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>Financial Analysis&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>MRO Indirect Experience - Procurement in industrial manufacturing preferred</span></p>\n<p><span>Experience with Oracle or similar systems &nbsp;</span></p>",
