    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Groundskeeper</strong></span></p><p><strong>Reports to:&nbsp;</strong>Grounds Manager</p><p><strong>FLSA:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; Full Time (Non-Exempt)</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Position Summary:&nbsp;</strong>This is a year-round position for individuals who love to work outdoors, perform landscaping tasks, or have a strong desire to learn/improve their landscaping skills. Groundskeepers will be responsible for keeping all outdoor areas of our campus clean, beautiful, and safe for our guests and co-workers.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Keeping campus free from litter</li><li>Cleaning spills from walkways</li><li>Maintaining water features</li><li>Fall/Spring landscape cleanups</li><li>Operating power equipment such as blowers, string trimmers, and chainsaws</li><li>Mowing grass with push mower, riding mower/0 turn mower</li><li>Trimming and edging turf grass areas</li><li>Planting and maintaining ornamental plants</li><li>Planting and maintaining trees</li><li>Landscaping/hardscaping new and existing areas</li><li>Applying pesticides including herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides</li><li>Applying plant fertilizers</li><li>Perform repairs and maintenance to outdoor structures including walking paths, nature trails, fences, and some minor repairs to building exteriors.</li><li>Safe and cautious operation of a Gator Utility Vehicle&nbsp;</li><li>Help with snow removal in winter</li><li>Assist with campus wide events such as concerts, Apple Fest, Octoberfest, etc.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>1-2 years of landscaping experience preferred, but not required.</li><li>Must have a desire to work outdoors, year-round.</li><li>Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, conscientious, and work well alone/unassisted or with limited supervision and as well as part of a team unit.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to safely lift and carry equipment and loads frequently exceeding 50 pounds.</li></ul><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p></div></div>\n",
