Description

Developer is expected to have an understanding of existing audit application and more importantly responsible for the development, integration, and deployment of both front-end and back-end based on the existing audit software applications. Responsibilities Understanding the product requirements, capturing and shaping the requirements and preparing design documents for the existing product. Participate in all phases of the development life cycle (SDLC). Owning all clarifications needed on system behavior and acting as the bridge between the audit team and the product development team. Interact with users, product management, Network Element teams and customers to define system requirements. Working closely with product developers to define, clarify and gain approval of requirements. Ensuring that requirements are understood, and appropriate implementation is produced for the expected solution. Communicating well with multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams to ensure that the project goals are being reached Control and manage the platform & lab requirements, configuration and results. Install and configure the network elements for development and testing purposes in lab environment Professional engineering environments using HP, Oracle, Solaris, Linux etc. IMS solutions knowledge and experience in developing solutions with functionally similar platforms are plus (e.g. IMS CSCF, IMS HSS, DNS, IMS MRF, IMS MRFC, MG, MGC, SBC, SDM, CFX, NTAS, CTS etc.) Having working knowledge on the following protocols, interfaces, platforms and technologies: 3GPP, 3GPP2, SIP, SS7, ANSI-41, IMS, HSS, CSCF, MRF, NTAS, ENUM, RTP, DNS, and IP routing Hands-on experience on one of Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia IMS/SurePay/SDM/vDRA Products Experience in Feature testing, Regression testing and Performance/Stress testing. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code and microservices. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and ensure designs comply with specifications Prepare and produce software component releases. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Proven experience as a Java developer, preferably working in a microservices environment Strong knowledge of Java and J2EE principles Experience on commercial Databases (SQL, MariaDB, Oracle …etc) Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies Qualifications Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent. Advanced level of English language skills. Self-starter, demonstrates a ‘can-do’ attitude and open to learn new things Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines Strong communications skills to interact with the R&D organizations and where necessary, customers Self-driven, independent and passionate with a strong sense of ownership Ability to understand customer perspective and end-use-cases to define product behavior Strong in design and technical documentation; Stong in Java SDK 1.8, Java SDK 11 (not mandatory), Spring Boot (Embedded Tomcat), REST & SOAP API skills; Strong in Spring frameworks (MVC, IOC, Boot, Batch) and ORM framework like Hibernate; Hands-on experience in Oracle & SQL; Core Java, J2EE, SOA based Web Services, RESTful Web Services , Hibernate, Spring,MVC, XSD, XML and WSDL, DB, Microservices; Strong development skills in Core / Advanced Java, and J2EE; Knowledge of Bamboo, Jira, Spring AOP, Junit, SQL query optimization and fine tuning, is a plus;
