We began our partnership with Northside Gwinnett in 2013 to provide therapy services throughout the Northside Gwinnett system. ITC is searching for a Rehabilitation Aide that is passionate about patient recovery in a teamwork environment. As a rehabilitation aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation team in providing care to patients across various settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities and acute care hospitals.  Your assistance will contribute to enhancing the quality of life and functional independence of individuals undergoing rehabilitation. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 100 to 150 pounds with assistance. Capable of facilitating learning of others and able to express oneself effectively before groups. Demonstrates good role model qualities; ability to effectively interpret, implement and support approved hospital policies, regulations, philosophy and objectives. Requires flexibility, creativity and ability to solve problems. Is self-directed in maintaining and improving own competence in clinical skills as well as cognitive aspects of practice, theory and current research.</li>\n<li><u>Environmental Demands:</u> Physical surroundings are pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards.</li>\n<li><u>Interpersonal Communication</u>: Requires the ability of speaking and/or signaling people to convey or exchange information. Includes giving assignments and/or directions to co-workers or assistants.</li>\n<li><u>Language Ability</u>: Requires the ability to read a variety of informational documentation, directions, instructions, and methods and procedures. Requires the ability to write with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech. Requires the ability to speak with others with poise, voice control, and confidence using correct English and well-modulated voice.</li>\n<li><u>Intelligence</u>: Requires the ability to make independent judgments in absence of supervision; to acquire knowledge of topics related to primary occupation.</li>\n<li><u>Verbal Aptitude</u>: Requires the ability to record and deliver information, to explain procedures, to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.</li>\n<li><u>Numeric Aptitude:</u> Requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; add and subtract totals; determine percentages; determine time and weight.</li>\n<li><u>Form/Spatial Aptitude:</u> Requires the ability to inspect items for proper length, width and shape, visually with office equipment and recording devices.</li>\n<li><u>Motor Coordination:</u> Requires the ability to coordinate hand and eyes in using machines, equipment and tools.</li>\n<li><u>Manual Dexterity:</u> Must have the ability to use one hand for twisting or turning motion while coordinating other hand with different activities. Must have minimal levels of eye/hand/foot coordination.</li>\n<li><u>Color Discrimination:</u> Requires the ability to differentiate colors and shades.</li>\n<li><u>Interpersonal Temperament:</u> Requires the ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions.
