Will you be one of them?</p>\n<h2>You will be responsible to:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage projects in the allocated area and escalate complex issues to more senior colleagues or managers. It is recognized that the level of support required will increase when projects that are more complex are assigned. Project assignment will always be based on business need, however, preferentially, projects assigned will have a medium to high degree of complexity including</li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>a medium to high cumulative sales / project cost value</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>a medium to high project control level </li>\n   <li>up to a high customer segmentation level </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Proactively manage and take responsibility of the scope, cost, time and quality of each project assigned</li>\n <li>Deliver the project objectives (e.g. results, processes, products) through a structured approach in alignment with industry or Company best practices</li>\n <li>Lead the project team to take decisions and influence key stakeholders with integrity</li>\n <li>Participate in project team composition and selection</li>\n <li>Clarify project team roles and responsibilities and enable others to optimize their use of technical, management and leadership skills</li>\n <li>Communicate proactively and effectively internally and externally, building rapport with key stakeholders</li>\n <li>Build and sustain motivation of the project TMs and positive dynamics within the project team</li>\n <li>Give timely and specific feedback to the project TMs regularly, both positive and constructive</li>\n <li>Develop knowledge related to PM methodologies, tools and techniques</li>\n <li>Master project management processes and tools</li>\n <li>Manage complex projects/ analysis with significant impact on business</li>\n <li>Make quality and timely decisions based on multiple sources of data</li>\n <li>Manage risk and uncertainty; anticipate and escalate roadblocks in order to prevent deviations to the goals</li>\n <li>Follow all applicable GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others)</li>\n <li>Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>We are looking to recruit a Candidate:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum degree level qualification required. Master´s degree in Science or Engineering, or related field highly desired. Alternative business-related qualification (e.g. MBA) allied to customer facing experience</li>\n <li>Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP, Prince2 or equivalent) or education (highly advantageous)</li>\n <li>Typically requires 5 years of relevant experience in an operational and / or scientific area within the Industry (highly desirable)</li>\n <li>Technical background preferred, or experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry, especially CDMO environment</li>\n <li>Able to demonstrate mastery of Project Management processes and tools through proven experience in a PM function (mandatory)</li>\n <li>Experience in leading others in project context</li>\n <li>Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.</li>\n <li>Track record of overachieving targets</li>\n <li>Comfortable in an environment of change and levels of uncertainty as befits complex development and manufacturing projects in a CDMO environment</li>\n <li>Experience of, and comfort with different cultural environments and styles as befits a worldwide client base is desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In compliance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, Hovione discloses a base pay range for this U.S. based position. Actual pay is influenced by location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime, and all roles may include a short-term incentive bonus. Employment is at-will, and compensation may change based on performance or market conditions. Benefits include 401(k), paid time off, leaves, and health coverage (medical, dental, vision), subject to plan terms.
