    "description": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in; margin-right:0in\"><strong><u>Position Overview:</u></strong></p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in; margin-right:0in\">The Mental Health Provider provides mental health services at the Article 31satellite site (location RCC) including:&nbsp; outreach, assessments, counseling, psychotherapy, and case management utilizing evidenced based practices for a diverse patient population and consultation to intra-agency personnel in an integrated health care setting.&nbsp; (S)He functions as a team member with interdisciplinary staff and works with community agencies to assure coordinated care for his/her patients.&nbsp; This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Ryan Health.</p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in; margin-right:0in\"><strong><u>Essential Functions:&nbsp;&nbsp; </u></strong>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Treatment: Crisis intervention, brief and long term supportive and insight therapy using a variety of treatment modalities including individual, group and family therapy.</li>\n\t<li>Screening and evaluation of patients referred to the mental health department.</li>\n\t<li>Work with child, adolescent or young adult or adult population.&nbsp; Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.</li>\n\t<li>Provide counseling services to patients/families to resolve specific, agreed upon problems.</li>\n\t<li>Work collaboratively with the treatment team, other providers, collateral contacts and organizations serving patients.</li>\n\t<li>Referrals out: responsible for knowledge of community resources Must determine priorities in treatment and be able to decide which patients are more appropriately referred elsewhere.</li>\n\t<li>Function as an advocate in negotiating with other institutions for patient services.</li>\n\t<li>When needed, function as a resource person and liaison to other staff and community agencies.</li>\n\t<li>Maintain professional competence by attendance at professional conferences, in-service seminars and other meetings as assigned.</li>\n\t<li>Evaluate care given in consultation with other team members and individual and peer supervision.</li>\n\t<li>Integrate mental health care with medical and social service care.</li>\n\t<li>Submit statistical documentation of work performance that is timely, accurate and in conformity with departmental requirements.</li>\n\t<li>Adhere to all agency and departmental policies and procedures.</li>\n\t<li>Home visits: Treatment and evaluation are sometimes expedited by use of home visits and are made when clinically indicated and with the approval of immediate supervisor/s.</li>\n\t<li>Work variable hours depending on the needs of the program.</li>\n\t<li>Must demonstrate a professional, courteous and respectful attitude in working with patients, immediate supervisor, and other employees.</li>\n\t<li>Practice accepted infection control measures in accordance with the OSHA Bloodborne pathogens standards and Center policies and procedures.</li>\n\t<li>Attend Department and Center meetings as required.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in; margin-right:0in\"><strong><em>Other </em></strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"color:#000000\">Immediately report any problems or unusual occurrences to supervisor/s.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"color:#000000\">If LCSW, supervise students as assigned. </span></li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\">Other special projects/duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n",
