    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Decision Point Corporation is looking for an <strong>Intermediate Software Developer</strong> to join our team supporting the Transportation Geospatial Information System (TGIS) at Scott AFB, IL. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This position is on a hybrid telecommute model with onsite work at Scott AFB.</em></p>\n<h2>Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skillsets.</li>\n <li>Write clean, maintainable code using object-oriented design patterns and solid principles </li>\n <li>Develop comprehensive unit test suites with high code coverage using mocking frameworks (Moq, NSubstitute)</li>\n <li>Support and enhance legacy .NET Framework applications while planning  modernization strategies</li>\n <li>Engage in application design process as a technical contributor.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot advanced production issues in collaboration with DevOps.</li>\n <li>Stay up to date on advanced programming techniques and software technologies.</li>\n <li>Contribute to investments and research that fuel innovation and technological advancements.</li>\n <li>Document and communicate proposed software solutions with integrated, cross-functional Development team in a fast paced highly technical environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Secret security clearance required.</li>\n <li>Associates degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Security+ Certification required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Experience in system integration is a plus.</li>\n <li>Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a development team.</li>\n <li>Experience with the Agile software development process in accordance with USG defined requirements.</li>\n <li>Experience developing applications in .NET, C#, and C++</li>\n <li>Experience developing in a Cloud environment.</li>\n <li>Experience working with hybrid/remote development teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to translate highly technical discussions into executable plans.</li>\n <li>Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Experience in system integration is a plus. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working on a GIS application.</li>\n <li>Experience with Oracle.</li>\n <li>Experience with AWS EC2.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with basic server administration tasks.</li>\n <li>Familiarity working with IA (Information Assurance) and QA.</li>\n <li>Experience Developing in Java</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>EEO and Affirmative Action Policy:</strong> DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
