Our development process follows Agile methodology and favours pair-programming, peer code reviews, automated testing and constant collaboration in a supportive team environment.<br><br>As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, building and maintaining our systems across several languages as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other areas of the product infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to drive projects in a highly collaborative, Agile environment.<br><br><strong>Your tasks will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Planning and implementing features using clear, performant, tested and maintainable code. Use recognised software engineering patterns.</li><li>Collaborating with Product Owners to understand end-user requirements and formulate specifications.</li><li>Contributing to ticket review ceremonies (refining proposed solutions, suggesting alternatives and estimating effort).</li><li>Understanding how to utilise AI to aid in the development lifecycle.</li><li>Providing application support where necessary, working closely with the QA and Support teams to diagnose and fix issues in production.</li><li>Maintaining and extending unit and integration test suites.</li><li>Performing code reviews, enhance documentation and follow industry best practices, especially with regards to testing and secure programming principles.</li><li>Taking&#160;responsibility for delivering new integration flows end-to-end through multiple services in multiple programming languages.</li><li>Implementing, maintaining and improve Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture.</li><li>Building robust technical contracts &amp; mappings across integrated systems.</li><li>Providing&#160;technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues.</li><li>Staying abreast of the latest developments in technology.</li><li>Fully upholding the company&#8217;s Information Security Policy and treat customer data with the greatest care and respect.
