With supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and opportunities to grow, GUARD is a place where people build meaningful, long‑term careers. \n<p><strong>Good Things You Can Count On.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote / 3 in‑office</li>\n <li>Predictable hours (no nights, weekends, or holidays)</li>\n <li>Competitive pay + generous PTO</li>\n <li>Medical, dental & vision starting day one</li>\n <li>401(k), tuition reimbursement & longevity bonuses</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3>\n<p>Evaluate, select, and price commercial lines business while supporting the performance and profitability of the portfolio.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work closely with distribution partners and agency relationships, applying underwriting judgment and market awareness to support thoughtful growth within your assigned authority.</p>\n<h3><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluate, select, and price new and renewal business in alignment with underwriting standards and authority</li>\n <li>Partner with Distribution to support territory production and profitability</li>\n <li>Travel to key agency partner relationships, participate in virtual meetings, and attend industry events as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h3><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred</li>\n <li>Professional designations such as AU or CPCU preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto and Workers Compensation</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of underwriting practices, risk assessment, and policy structures</li>\n <li>Familiarity with insurance policy language and coverage forms</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of working with data to support underwriting decisions</li>\n <li>Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skill </li>\n <li>Clear written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate effectively across teams</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accountability</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>What to Expect</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular interaction with distribution partners and internal stakeholders</li>\n <li>Mix of independent underwriting and collaborative decision-making</li>\n <li>Opportunity for both virtual and in-person agency engagement</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary Range</strong></p>\n<p><strong>$60,000.00-$125,000.00 USD </strong></p>\n<p><strong>In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good‐faith estimate.
